2010 EOHIMA Student Scholarship Awards As a friend and co-worker of Kendra Conrad-Motter I am proud to present two scholarship awards in Kendra’s honor. Kendra was a faculty member of Stark State College and headed up the CCA program from 2004 to 2006. In addition to SSC Kendra was a consultant and early in her career work for Aultman Hospital as an inpatient coder and later as a billing/coding supervisor at Aultman MSO. Education was important to Kendra and several years after receiving her RHIT certification she attended Malone College and received Bachelor’s in Business working full-time and attending school in the evenings and weekends. Kendra leaves her legacy through the development of our EOHIMA scholarship program named in her honor in 2007. This year’s 2010 Kendra Conrad-Motter scholarships are awarded to: Dena DiRoco RHIT - $300.00 EOHIMA student scholarship Emily Roher CCA - $300.00 EOHIMA student scholarship Both students stressed the importance of continuing education and participation in their local and state professional associations.
