She is responsible for the Health Information Technology Associate Degree program, Medical Coding and Medical Transcription Certificate programs, Medical Assisting Associate Degree program, Phlebotomy program, and the Medical Laboratory Technology Associate Degree program. She also teaches the Health Information Technology program. Totally, she has been employed for 31 years as an HIM professional. Prior to that, she spent several years working from home as a Medical Transcriptionist, typing for a number of hospitals around the country. She is a recent graduate of DeVry University's HIT program and has plans to pursue a bachelor's degree in the near future.
