Is Gout a complicated Problem?

Gout treatment is simple if you understand the root cause. Gout is caused by one thing, and that is URIC ACID! URIC ACID! Gout patients experience pain in their joints and muscles due to crystallization of uric acids that has formed in the synovial fluid. These tiny, needle-like crystals (monosodium-urate) scratch the surface of hyaline cartilage. This triggers an auto-immune reaction and pains that is commonly known as Gout Attack! Your body’s high levels of uric acid are a direct result from what you eat over the years. All around us, acidic foods are everywhere!

Acidic Foods

These include high protein, high carbohydrate and processed food. Your lifestyle can make your body produce more acids than the food you eat. Acidic Lifestyles are defined as those who have a poor sleep quality, are overworked, and are always stressed. If you fall into any of these categories, get a blood test right away! You might find that your Uric Acid reading is on the high end or way above the standard. You may have heard that gout can be caused by hyperuricemia. However, it could also be due to hormonal changes, old age, or genetic heredity.

Is it old age? Only 19 years old was the youngest gout sufferer that I have ever met. Hormonal changes? Gout patients who are over 90% males in their 30s are considered to be adults. Isn’t it too young for them? Is there a predicted age at which men will experience menopause? Genetic heredity This is the most common explanation given by medical professionals when they are unable to explain why a father and son are suffering from the same disease.

Uric Acid

Did you ever see a publication that claimed scientists have discovered the gene responsible for controlling uric acid levels? Gout is a Hereditary Disease It is not genetically related. That is what I call “Diet & Lifestyle Heredity”. There is a high chance that a baby will choose what his father likes for many years. The father who loves high purine foods such as red meat (weekend family BBQ party), beans, peas, and so on, will most likely share his favorite food with his son.

This is when gout begins. Your years of living an acidic lifestyle and eating habits are what cause excessive uric acid buildup in your body. Reversing the process is the only way to stop gout attacks forever. Instead of wasting time and energy worrying about what to avoid, focus on what you must eat to neutralize the uric acid.
