Arthritis is a condition that affects millions of people around the world. It can cause pain, irritation, and discomfort. In extreme cases, it can cause people to be bedridden or to be confined to wheelchairs. It can affect any joint of the body, and is most commonly found in the hips, knees, ankles, hips, fingers and toes. There are three main types of arthritis: rheumatoid, osteoarthritis, and gout. Although they all affect the body in similar ways, they are caused by different causes. Arthritis can be described as inflammation of joints or cartilage in any area of the body. Arthritis can affect anyone, from the most active and athletic to the least energetic to the most sickly. Although the exact cause of arthritis and the type of arthritis may vary, the symptoms are the same.
Cartilage
The cartilage in joints protects each joint from impact and damage. Arthritis causes cartilage to wear down, causing the bones and joints to rub together, causing inflammation and pain. As we all know, arthritis can affect anyone. There are ways to protect ourselves from the disease, as well as treatments and remedies that can ease suffering and reverse the effects of arthritis. Maintaining a healthy body is one of these options. Although it is not a guarantee that you will avoid the disease, it has been shown to reduce the risk of certain types of arthritis, especially gout. A healthy lifestyle and a reduced alcohol intake can help you prevent arthritis.
People with RA have seen significant improvements in their quality of life. There are many drugs that have been developed. More will be developed as technology and knowledge about RA improves. Herbal massage therapy is another natural way to treat arthritis. Massage can be used to target problem areas. It stimulates blood flow to the affected area. This can reduce inflammation and increase mobility and flexibility of your joint. The muscles that control the joints are relaxed, which reduces pain and discomfort. Also, aches and painful feelings are reduced. Massage therapy can’t cure arthritis, but it can help those who have lived with the pain and discomfort of the disease. Experts and physicians have developed stretching and exercise routines that aim to relax tight muscles and ligaments around joints affected by arthritis.
Rheumatism
Rheumatism is a non-specific and traditional term that is used in the East and West to describe a range of conditions that affect the bones, joints and skin. Modern medical science has shown that many of these conditions have very different causes and require different treatments. This is why this term is rapidly losing popularity in the West. It’s a term that is primarily used in Chinese (and traditional) societies. However, a small number of Westerners use it to refer to homeopathy and other alternative medicine. These conditions share two common traits: they cause chronic, long-lasting pain and are very difficult to treat. Arthritis is a general term that refers to inflammation in the joints.
However, it doesn’t address the cause. This is a condition that occurs mostly in older people. This condition is caused by overuse (e.g. OA can be caused by overuse (e.g., marathon runners, previous injuries (football players), obesity, and heredity. Many older Asian women suffer from OA in their knees, while Americans and Europeans have it in their hips. The pain is more mechanical and less inflammatory. After a long day of walking or climbing stairs, you may feel pain in the late part of the morning. It’s not a permanent problem.
Good to know
Painkillers are only temporary because it is primarily a mechanical problem. Long-term lifestyle changes are better – reduce weight, mobility, and muscle-strengthening exercise, reduce all weight-bearing activities (walking/running, jumping, running, lifting heavy objects). Surgery may be necessary in severe cases. This group includes the many types of arthritis that are mainly inflammatory, and not mechanical. These conditions are usually caused by an auto-immune condition that causes the immune system to attack the joints and other areas of the body. E.g. rheumatoid (RA), SLE, skin, kidneys and joints, brain, psoriasis, ankylosing spondylitis, back, heart), gout, joint, skin, kidneys, rheumatic disease/fever, skin, skin, heart (joints., skin, heart).
Each condition requires different treatment. I will talk a little about RA, which is the most common condition in this group. Unlike OA and RA, RA can happen at any age. We now have a blood test to determine if there is an RA factor in your blood. Pain is most common in the morning and it gets worse when it’s cold. It improves with activity and exercise. An RA patient will experience stiffness and pain in the morning, but it gets better when it’s warmer and he moves around a bit. Treatment for RA is mainly via drugs, which include painkillers, anti-inflammatory drugs such as steroids, and cytotoxic drugs such as sulfasalazine or MTX. Asia uses a combination of acupuncture, medicated plasters, and ointments to treat RA. The vast array of non-drug and drug alternative treatments available today make RA manageable and allow sufferers to live a full and active life. Many OA sufferers may need surgery as we don’t have effective drugs.
Proper Diet
Your arthritis pain can be affected by your diet and eating habits. Dietary etiologies can cause osteoarthritis in up to 50% and rheumatoid arthritis in as high as 80% of patients. Below are the top 10 food groups most frequently linked to arthritis. The order of frequency is Cow Dairy, Wheat. Up to half of Lupus patients are allergic to wheat. Citrus, nightshade (for example tomatoes white potatoes, peppers and eggplant). Animal-based fats are high levels of omega six fats, which are the bad fats. They can increase inflammation. While inflammation is necessary to repair some damage, chronic pain can be caused by it.
The good fats are either marine or plant-based fats, such as the omega-3’s. These fats are anti-inflammatory. This is a key part of treating arthritis and other inflammatory diseases such as arthritis. Poor digestion and inadequate absorption of nutrients can also lead to arthritis. Poor absorption can lead to the body reacting as if it were foreign substances, which stimulates the immune system to produce inflammatory chemicals. Deficiency of essential nutrients and antibody defense can also be caused by poor absorption. Poor digestion can lead to bloating, diarrhea, loose stool, cramping, constipation, and other symptoms. Insufficient bowel bacteria or flora can cause food to be absorbed in larger pieces and may be interpreted as foreign by the immune system.
