What is a Sign of Systemic Yeast Infection?

If you feel bloated after a yeast infection, this could indicate a more serious yeast infection. Learn more about bloating and the reasons why it is important to treat this condition. Candida Albicans, a yeast-like microorganism, causes yeast infections. It is found in most people but rarely causes any serious problems. Your body’s beneficial bacteria helps keep it in check so it doesn’t become a fungal form and cause an infection. Sometimes, however, your good bacteria can become so low that Candida Albicans can overgrow’ and multiply. Gas is also produced in your intestines as a side effect from this ‘overgrow” process. This is similar to how gas is made when you make beer. Bloating is caused by the production of this gas.

Bloating

Bloating could indicate an intestinal yeast infection. Vaginal, penile, and oral yeast infections are not serious. However, they are usually localized and have only a few symptoms. Intestinal yeast infections are not easily detected. However, if you have an infection elsewhere, it is possible to have it internal. The problem with intestinal yeast infections, is that Candida Albicans can settle in your walls and eventually perforate through, allowing toxins into your bloodstream. This is known as “systemic yeast infections”, and you can see why bloating could be a warning sign. Systemic Candida infections can lead to serious complications like irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), arthritis, gout and allergies, arteriosclerosis, eczema, irritability memory loss, learning difficulties, and other issues.

The sooner you get your infection treated, the better. The majority of mainstream treatments for a common infection are topical creams and lotions. Once your infection is severe, you may need intravenous injections. Many women find that their vaginal Candida infections symptoms, such as a swollen bladder, take a while to clear. Or, they return after the medication is stopped. This is because drug-based medications only treat symptoms and do not address the root cause. Candida albicans can also become resistant to drugs. This allows for the possibility that a systemic infection may develop. Women are turning to natural remedies for quick, permanent relief from yeast infections. Some people report that they get relief in as little time as 12 hours.

Propolis Benefits

Nearly 100 million bees have been on this planet since the beginning. They produce important health foods such as honey and royal jelly. Honey is the most well-known bee product, but beehives also have propolis, a small unknown substance that humans have used for thousands upon thousands of years. After several studies linking propolis to the curing of terminal diseases such as cancer, there has been a lot of interest from the public. Propolis is a resinous substance similar to cement that comes from trees and plants. It is also known as bee glue and is used by bees to repair hives. This is similar to cement in our homes.

The only difference is that the substance holds the hives together and keeps the entire bee colony clean from viruses and bacteria. Propolis is believed to be a bee medicine. It’s an important component in protecting large colonies from disease or contamination. The big question is: Can propolis help humans as it helped bees? Propolis is not always as effective as it claims. In many cases, only anecdotal evidence supports this claim. However, propolis has shown promise in certain areas as a potential miracle drug.

Propolis

Propolis has been shown to be effective in treating cancer. Cancer Research published a study that showed propolis may prevent or treat malignant tissue in guinea-pigs. The study was conducted by scientists at Mansoura University, Egypt. It showed that propolis administration on rats effectively inhibited tumor growth by decreasing viability, DNA, and protein levels of tumor cells. Similar research was done at University of Zagreb in Croatia. It also found that propolis significantly decreased subcutaneous tumor growth and improved the survival rate of mice. Dr Nada Orsolic led the team. She stated that their research showed that honeybee products could be useful in controlling tumor growth. They concluded that honey-bee products could be beneficial in cancer and metastasis prevention.

Even drug companies admit that yesterday’s miracle antibiotics are losing effectiveness. Many bacteria-causing diseases are now resistant to antibiotics. Other germs are becoming more immune-compliant every day. A large number of people worldwide are now suffering from drug-resistant diseases. Propolis could be a potential solution in this area. It could be combined with antibiotics to increase the effectiveness of the drug. E.L Ghisalberti, an Australian scientist from the Department of Organic Chemistry at University of Western Australia, found that bee propolis can increase the effectiveness of penicillin and other antibiotics by between 10 and 100 times.

Good to know

Propolis, unlike antibiotics does not kill friendly bacteria. It maintains a healthy body instead. Colgate makes a propolis-based toothpaste. This is not a new concept. Propolis is a safe and natural form of dental wash that has been widely used in dental surgery. Propolis is commonly used in the dental office because it reduces patient healing time. It can also be used to treat plague and gum infection. In 1991, a study showed that rats who drank propolis solution as part of their drinking water had fewer caries than other rats. Researchers in Poland have discovered that propolis, which is non-toxic, can stimulate the immune system. The study was led by Professor S. Scheller, of the Institute for Microbiology, at the Medical Academy.

It concluded that propolis can be used to improve mental, physical, and sexual performance, and it may also be capable of healing injured tissue. Flavonoids are a special substance rich in propolis that has many biological effects on animals. However, they have received little attention from pharmacologists. Propolis has been shown to be active against many microorganisms in test tubes, including bacteria, viruses and protozoans.

Conclusion

Propolis has been shown to have potential benefits in treating high blood pressure, infertility and protecting the liver, bowels, and liver. Modern science has proven that propolis, whether it is in capsules, liquid or cream form, has more than justified folk healers’ claims. While many of the claims may sound exaggerated, scientists around the globe have been able to unravel the complex mysteries of propolis. While there are many more to be discovered, the results so far have been very promising. This ancient treatment for infected wounds was “rediscovered” by medical professionals over the past two decades, especially where modern therapeutic agents have failed. K. Lund Aagaard, a scientist who studied propolis on over 50,000 people in Scandinavia, wrote a paper stating that propolis’ benefits to humans are so great.
