How To Understand Gout Food Treatment?

This article is very personal to me. The other day, every joint I had seemed to be hurting so I went to see my family physician. After many tests, he diagnosed me with mild gout. Gout was something I believed was a disease of the wealthy from the Middle Ages. It is not in the 2000s. I began to research and found this. I thought maybe there were others who would be interested in this information. I am not a physician or a health care practitioner. If you suspect you may have a health problem, you should consult a doctor, nurse, or health care provider immediately.

Did You Know?

Gout is on the rise in the United States due to obesity. Gout may be linked to racial dominance, as diet can have a significant impact on gout. Gout patients have had their diet guidelines change over time and it isn’t always clear what combination of foods is best. Extreme diets, such as low carb, all protein, or fasting, can lead to excess lactic acid which inhibits the kidneys’ ability to excrete uric acid. Gout is a result of eating too much alcohol, protein, heavy food, coffee, and other soft drinks.

Gout patients should seek out NSAIDs for relief. Important Information: I am not a doctor or giving medical advice. For professional advice, you should consult your family doctor or an arthritis specialist. I am only sharing information I have gleaned from pamphlets or other research. People who are overweight can reduce their uric acid levels by losing weight. The long-term importance of weight loss is greater for chronic gout patients than diet.
