What to know about Fake Sugar?

You’re determined to lose weight. To help you do this, you’re going artificial sweeteners. Hold on! This is what you need to know before you reach for the diet soda. People who use artificial sweeteners more often gain weight than those who use the real thing. Diet drinks are even worse! Artificial sweeteners can greatly increase insulin levels. Artificial sweeteners can make it difficult to feel satisfied. Manufacturers often use two or more artificial sweetness in their processed foods to enhance their taste. Your brain signals the pancreas to tell you that sugar is coming in by putting these foods into your mouth. The pancreas then releases insulin to deal with the sugar that isn’t there. You feel disappointed in your stomach, but you are still hungry so you eat more to make up for it.

Chemicals

Let’s now take a look at some artificial sweeteners that are used in these chemical creations. Sacharin, a petroleum derivative, has been around for a while. Saccharin can still be found in little pink packets at restaurant tables, despite its well-known carcinogenic potential. Saccharin is bitter tasting to many. Saccharin was the first artificial sweetener to be chemically formulated. It is now being rapidly outpaced by other artificial sweeteners. Aspartame, also known as NutraSweet and Equal, is an excitotoxin that can cause damage to your brain. Aspartame can be found in many diet sodas as well as other bottled beverages.

Aspartame can cause brain dysfunction in all types of people. Many people who have used aspartame have reported headaches, mood disorders, and skin rashes. Aspartame is not a good sugar substitute. Aspartame contains 50% phenilaline and 40% aspartic acids. It also contains 10% methanol. Phenilaline, which is a compound that many people can’t metabolize, can be passed on to their children. This can lead to mental retardation. Aspartame can cause brain cancer and trigger brain tumors. It can also interact with prescription drugs. Aspartame is a methanol-containing drug.

Methanol

Methanol is a wood alcohol. Methanol is a wood alcohol that distributes itself throughout your body. This includes your brain, muscle tissue, fat and nerve tissue. Aspartame is converted to Formaldehyde and Formic Acid when it reaches 86 degrees Fahrenheit in your body. Knowing that your body’s normal temperature is 98.6 degrees, it is possible to have embalming fluid in cells binding to DNA and proteins. Drinking too much soda can cause vision, brain, heart, nerve problems, pancreatic inflammation, and even blindness. If that isn’t enough to convince you to avoid it, Aspartame was once listed on a Pentagon list containing bio-warfare chemicals.

Our government at work, looking out for our welfare! There are many more, but this article is too long. Splenda is an artificial sweetener that tastes better than Saccharin and Aspartame. It also has heat stability which allows it to be used in cooking. Splenda is not made from sugar, but it is partially true. Splenda begins as sugar, which is true. However, three of the sugar molecules are chemically modified with chlorine atoms. This creates a chlorocarbon that is very similar to insecticide. Splenda is called “natural” by the manufacturer, but this artificial sweetener is nothing less than a chemical concoction. Splenda’s manufacturer claims that Splenda is “not absorbed.” However, Splenda is only about 15% and about 6 calories per tablespoon. These calories are derived from a combination of carbohydrates necessary to stabilize the chlorocarbon compound. Sugar, unlike artificial sweeteners has received a bad reputation when it comes to weight loss. It’s not just the teaspoon of sugar you add to your morning cup of coffee that is causing the problems. It’s all the sugar other people put into the food that makes your jeans too tight.

Sugar Consumption

The USDA recommends that people who consume 2,000 calories per day limit their intake to 40 grams or 10 teaspoons of sugar. USDA surveys show that the average American consumes about 20 teaspoons of sugar per day or 64 pounds annually. Teenage boys consume almost twice as much. It does not include natural sugars found in milk, fruits, and vegetables. The average American now consumes 16 percent of the calories, compared to 11 percent in 1977. Teenagers consume 20 percent of those calories. Soft drinks, which have about nine teaspoons of sugar per 12-ounce container, are a major contributor to sugar consumption.

Because many teenage girls and women choose to drink phosphorus-rich soda over calcium-rich milk, they may be contributing to an epidemic of osteoporosis. Teens consume nearly twice as much soda than milk. We’ve become so concerned about fats that we have forgotten sugar. Sugar consumption can cause more serious health problems than obesity, heart disease, and premature deaths. Sugary diets can lead to or complicate problems like acne, allergies, appendicitis and arteriosclerosis.

Sugar Addiction

Sugar addiction is a major reason why many companies continue to look for ways to hide sugars in processed foods. Although added sugars are most common in junk food, even healthier processed foods can contain them. These processed foods can make it difficult to eat healthy foods like fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and legumes. It is best to avoid processed foods as much possible. Fructose is the natural sugar found in fruits. It is sweeter than sucrose (refined sugar). You should be able satisfy your sweet tooth while still eating healthy. Fruit juice is a healthy option, but it is not recommended to consume more than one cup of fruit juice per day.

Honey is slightly healthier than sugar, but it is still a sweetener that is high in calories. Brown sugar is simply sugar that has had molasses added to it. It is not nutritionally any better than white sugar. Artificial sweeteners can be helpful for people who want to lose weight. However, they may not be as healthy as refined sugar. It is best to retrain your tastebuds to enjoy less sweet flavours. You will want more sugar if you eat more. The less sugar you eat, the less you will want. You can replace sugar with healthier sweeteners like honey, maple syrup, molasses and fruit juice. Reduce your consumption of these sweeteners. A diet rich in complex carbohydrates is a good choice. Use natural sugars found in fruits to overcome your sugar cravings.
