Is excess Protein hazardous to my Health?

Let’s not forget! We all know that cholesterol and fat are dangerous to our health. Are you implying that too many protein can also be harmful to our health? Yes! This is exactly what I’m saying. This may surprise you, but many experts believe that too much protein, especially animal protein, can be dangerous for your health. A person should not consume more than 15% of his daily protein intake (beef has 26% protein, the rest is fat; chicken has 61% protein, the rest being fat). The body must then get rid of that protein.

Proteins

The body stores very little protein. The kidneys and liver are responsible for getting rid the protein. The kidneys and liver must work harder to remove the protein from the food we eat. Overuse of these organs can lead to premature wear and tear. Americans consume a lot of animal protein every day. Then they add protein powders, drinks, and bars to their diet. This country is protein obsessed! It is not for our good, but our demise. Excess animal protein is dangerous for your health. This is in addition to the wear and tear on the liver and kidneys.

Excessive protein can make the body more acidic. These acids build up in the joints, causing arthritis and gout. Animal protein is difficult to digest, which can cause digestive problems. Animal protein is strongly linked to heart disease. Not just the fat and cholesterol but also the animal protein.

Did You Know?

Many types of cancers are linked to animal protein, including breast cancer, prostate cancer and colon cancer. T. Colin Campbell, PhD. conducted a large study in China and found that those who ate the highest amounts of animal protein had the most heart disease and certain types of cancer. The disease numbers did not necessarily rise if the animal protein intake was increased.

Because animal protein makes the body more acidic than it should, the body must neutralize it. It pulls calcium from the bones and then excretes the calcium. This is why it is so important. It is believed that the main contributor to osteoporosis in this nation is animal protein.

Conclusion

Excessive protein causes calcium to be eroded from our bones. You can reduce your intake of meat protein and artificially added protein to other foods and pseudofoods. This is one of the best decisions you can make for yourself. To achieve maximum health and fitness, you should eliminate all animal protein sources.
