Externally, it enhances the skin’s glow and fairness. Honey and turmeric can reduce dark pigments.

On the day of marriage, Indian brides and grooms are smeared in turmeric paste from head-to-toe. The paste is then washed with water. Some regions mix sandal powder with saffron to make water. Turmeric is known for its healing properties. Indian mothers grab their turmeric jars right away from the kitchen shelves when they see a wound. Here are some easy home remedies that use turmeric. Boil 1/4 cup of turmeric and 1 tablespoon of ghee in a glass of water.

Add a spoonful (misri), of powdered sugar candy (misri), to the mixture. To remove the granules, strain this milk. This hot turmeric milk can be drunk at night to relieve chronic dry coughs and soothe sore throats. Combine 1 tablespoon honey with 1 teaspoon turmeric. Apply this mixture to dark pigments. Leave it on for 20 minutes. This can be washed off with plain water. This will reduce the darkness of scars, pigments, and marks.
