How to control Bone & Joint Pain?

A strain, sprain, or other injury to the ligaments or tendon surrounding a joint could cause joint pain. Alternately, joint pain could be caused by osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis. Although pain can occur anywhere in the body, the most common areas are the hips, knees and shoulders. While home remedies can be very effective in relieving joint pain, serious joint pain caused by degenerative conditions such as arthritis requires proper diagnosis and treatment. If the pain persists for more than three consecutive days, it is worth consulting a doctor.

Massages Benefits

Massages are designed to improve circulation and soothe inflammation. Regular massages can be very helpful in reducing pain, stiffness, and the range of motion of the affected joints. Warm oil is a good choice for massaging the affected areas. It can be used in a mild pressure and should include olive, mustard, castor, garlic oil, coconut oil and mustard oil. Joint pain can be relieved by a combination of cold and hot compresses.

The pain will decrease, blood flow is increased, and sore joints and muscles can be relaxed with heat therapy.

Compress

Cold therapy reduces inflammation and numbs the area around the affected joints. The hot and cold compresses for an ailing joint should be used in the following manner: Before using both compresses, wrap them in separate towels. They should not be directly applied to the skin. For three minutes, apply the hot compress to the affected area. Then, immediately remove the hot compress and replace it with a cold one.

You can repeat this process for 15-20 minutes each day. You must be careful not to use the hot compress on areas that are red, bruised, or inflamed. Fenugreek is a popular home remedy due to its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. It is especially beneficial for arthritis sufferers.

Fenugreek

Fenugreek is a natural remedy for joint pain. Take one teaspoon of finely ground Fenugreek seeds and mix it with a glass lukewarm. This can be done every morning to ensure a positive outcome. Alternately you could soak one teaspoon of Fenugreek seeds overnight in water and then consume them the next morning. Garlic is a great choice for joint pain and arthritis sufferers due to its high levels of sulfur and selenium.

Sulphur is a natural remedy for joint pain and inflammation. It also has anti-rheumatic properties. High levels of selenium are very effective for arthritis sufferers, as arthritic patients have low blood selenium levels. These are the best ways to use garlic to heal joint pain. It is safe to eat 2 to 3 cloves of garlic every day, whether you are using raw or cooked garlic.

Garlic

You can also use garlic to treat skin conditions. Two garlic cloves should be fried in 2 tablespoons mustard or sesame oils. Turn off the heat when the cloves turn dark brown. Strain the oil. Let the oil cool down until it becomes comfortable warm. Massage the oil into the skin around the area. It should be left on for at least three hours before you wash it off. It could be very effective to treat your joint pain by applying it twice daily.
